Moel Cynghorion
Moel Cynghorion is a broad, grassy summit located in Eryri National Park (Snowdonia) in North Wales, sitting to the west of Snowdon and overlooking the Llanberis Pass. Often visited as a quieter alternative to the busy Snowdon paths, it offers a peaceful mountain experience with far-reaching views.
Rising to 674 metres (2,211ft) above sea level, the summit is marked by a small cairn rather than a trig point.
While less dramatic than some neighbouring peaks, Moel Cynghorion rewards walkers with open, panoramic views across the Snowdon massif, Moel Eilio, and the surrounding valleys, making it a lovely addition to a longer mountain day or a standalone walk away from the crowds.
