Carnedd y Filiast (The Arenigs)

Carnedd y Filiast is a summit located in Eryri National Park (Snowdonia) in North Wales, sitting within the quieter Arenigs area on the eastern edge of the national park. It is often overlooked in favour of the higher, more dramatic peaks further west, making it a great choice for those seeking a more peaceful mountain day.

Carnedd y Filiast is 669 metres (2,195ft) above sea level.

The summit is marked by a cairn and rewards walkers with wide-reaching views across the Arenigs, the Carneddau, the Clwydian Range, and towards the Berwyn mountains on clear days, providing a real sense of space and solitude.
