Wainwrights

The Wainwrights are a group of 214 hills and mountains in England’s Lake District, famously described in Alfred Wainwright’s Pictorial Guide to the Lakeland Fells.

Unlike other mountain lists, these fells weren’t chosen based on height or set criteria.  Instead they were handpicked by Wainwright himself, based on the places he loved most.
