The Llangynidr Moors Short Circular is a compact yet scenic route in the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park (Brecon Beacons), perfect for when you’re short on time but still want a taste of the area’s wild beauty. This walk gives you sweeping views over open moorland, rolling hills, and, on a clear day, the distant peaks of the central Beacons.

The loop is accessible to most abilities and is fairly straightforward to follow with a mix of grass and uneven rocky tracks.

This short circular walks makes a great choice for an early morning leg-stretcher, a quick afternoon escape, or as a scenic stop on a longer journey through the Beacons. A perfect snapshot of the rugged charm that defines this part of Wales.

Nesting season is between March 1st to July 31st each year and on open access land, dogs are required to be on lead by law.
