Dogs are not allowed on part of the beach between 1st April and 30th September however there is a considerable stretch of beach that is dog friendly year round.

Various locations to park include directly on the beach.  Barriers are open between 9am-8pm.

A fee is payable between 1 April and 30 September. There is an option to buy a daily ticket or a season permit. Day tickets can be purchased at the beach entrance and is card only.  Season permit must be purchased online.

The area is surrounded by several holiday parks, so just keep following the main road right to the end, where you’ll find the official entrance onto the beach

Facilities

Facilities include toilets, a shop, and a slipway, with parking available either on the beach itself or in a nearby car park

There is no lifeguard on duty

Dog friendly places to eat

Black Rock Beach Club situated right by the beach is the perfect place to relax after a day by the sea. The club offers a stylish bar and restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating, serving freshly prepared meals, stone-baked pizzas, and a great choice of drinks.


With regular live music and events, it’s a lively spot for both locals and visitors, and there’s even a kids’ play area to keep little ones entertained.
