Each pod is surprisingly spacious inside, with a comfortable beds, seating area, kitchenette and private en-suite. The large front windows make the most of the surrounding views, whilst the outdoor seating area provides the perfect place to enjoy a morning coffee or unwind after a day exploring Eryri.

One of our favourite things about staying here is the location. Situated just outside Blaenau Ffestiniog, you're perfectly positioned to explore everything from mountain walks and waterfalls to historic slate landscapes and coastal adventures. Whether you're tackling one of the nearby peaks, riding the famous mountain bike trails or simply looking for a peaceful base to relax, the pods provide a great starting point.

Despite feeling tucked away, you're also only a short walk from the hotel facilities. Guests can enjoy food and drinks at the hotel restaurant and bar, making it easy to leave the car behind after a long day outdoors.

Dog owners will be pleased to know that the pods are dog friendly too, making them an ideal choice for those who love exploring with their four-legged companion. Riley certainly appreciated having new places to sniff and explore, whilst we appreciated having such easy access to some fantastic walking routes.

Our stay was accompanied by some very typical Welsh weather, with heavy rain and strong winds for much of the trip. Despite that, the pod remained warm, comfortable and a lovely place to retreat to after a day outdoors. There was something quite special about listening to the rain outside whilst staying cosy indoors.
