68 Cefn Y Gader
Morfa Bychan, Gwynedd
This peaceful bungalow is located on a quiet cul-de-sac, just a few minutes walk to the breathtaking Black Rock Sands beach.
This three-bedroom bungalow has hard floors throughout, spacious living area, well equipped kitchen, separate utility room, off road parking and enclosed rear garden.
The main en-suite bedroom has a large bed, the second offers flexible sleeping arrangement, with the option of a super-king or two singles, whilst the third features two custom full sized bunk beds.
The open plan living area is fantastic to unwind after a busy day exploring, pop your feet up and enjoy your favourite show on a 55-inch smart TV. In the winter the cosy log burner is a great addition to warm the house. The kitchen is well equipped with induction hob, dual ovens, dish washer and Nespresso coffee machine, we have yet to find a missing utensil!
Outside, the rear garden is fully enclosed with spacious decking and outdoor furniture. Just off the rear garden, the utility room offers a great space to house your muddy boots, walking rucksacks, dog accessories and bikes. Complete with washing machine, tumble dryer, drying racks, spare fridge and outdoor BBQ. The spare fridge is ideal if you raw feed your pup, allowing you to keep their meals separate from yours.
The property provides a dog crate and bowls.

Nearby walks
Staying at Cefn y Gader puts you in a perfect spot for exploring some of North Wales’ best walking routes. Within an hour’s drive you can reach the majority of the region’s Nuttalls, including Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon). There are several routes up the mountain, but the Pyg Track and Miners’ Track are firm favourites of ours thanks to the mix of rocky ridges, glacial lakes, and breathtaking scenery that unfolds along the way. From here, you’ll have endless options for day trips into Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park, whether you’re after a challenging summit day or a gentler wander with spectacular views.
Nearby attractions
You’ll find plenty to explore right on your doorstep. Black Rock Sands is just a short stroll away, a wide-open beach that’s dog-friendly all year (with a few restrictions in summer) and perfect for evening walks. If history’s more your thing, you can wander up to Criccieth Castle with your dog by your side, or take a short drive to Portmeirion for a completely different vibe — a colourful, Italian-style village that feels like stepping into another world (just note that dogs aren’t allowed here).
